Why there is a Penguin in Linux?

I am just wondering why there is a penguin in linux's logo? Is the creator loved penguins? Share your thoughts. :ertery:

His name is TUX.
Is an open source image/logo that exist in Linux projects since the end of 1999
Not sure about all the story but is somehow related with fat. Something that is full/fat with lots of things/specfs but if you google you'll find all the story :)
