Letsencrypt is a free SSL certificate provider. Some hosting providers have enabled automatic Letsencrypt feature, so when you host with tehse providers, you will automatically get SSL certificate. Some hosting provider provide Letsencrypt support. Therefore, if you want to use Letsencrypt, you can ask them how to use it. My host does not have automatic Letsencrypt feature and also does not provide Letsencrypt support. How do I use it.

The procedure to install certificate is completely depending on what environment you are hosting your websites. If it is shared hosting, your options will be limited other than contatcting your host support and asking for help, unless you are ready to use some online SSL generator [ based on let's ecnrypt signing ] and install it manually for your domains. If you have VPS, you can use any plugins available based on your control panel. If its non-control panel server, you can use the option mentioned in above post which looks like an easy method if you are familair enough with CLI.

hi,

you can now get free https certificates from the non-profit certificate authority Let's Encrypt! This is a website that will take you through the manual steps to get your free https certificate so you can make your own website use https! This website is open source and NEVER asks for your private keys. Never trust a website that asks for your private keys!
