I have an old VPS and it has already setup with ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com and I am going to move to a new better vps server but the problem is I will keep nameservers on old host with that domain and setup a new domain with nameserver like
ns3.mynewdomain.com and ns4.mynewdomain.com, I am doubting this will affect to sending and receiving email on my new server. Does any one know how to correct this progress? what can I do to not affect to my emails?

Thanks in advance.

If you will update the nameservers then it will affect the working of the emails. If you would like to point emails to the server where they are currently pointing then you will need to do the below DNS changes -

1. Add the A record for mail.domain_name pointing to the old server
2, Add MX record as mail.domain_name
3. Update the email routing to remote mail exchanger

Please note, you will need to update the update those DNS records from the new server whose nameservers you are going to add.

I think, it will clear your idea. :)

I am curious why needing this step? would you make me clear with more details?

Plus one tip for the OP if you are using a CDN then just changing IP on DNS section then you don't need to change nameservers and your email server will work perfectly without affecting when changing to new server.

You will need to perform the third step when you are using the mail service of another provider. When you will select the email routing as Remote that time while sending the email, server will check the MX records and as routing is set to remote, the server will come to know those are going from third party provider.

When you are using the mail service of your own that time the routing is selected as Local that is deliver the email from the same server.

Hope this will clear you.

The email routing option will not be present in every panel. As you said, you just need to update the IP of mail record and emails will start working.

I think yes. You can still get to Gmail regardless but your email for your domain will stop going to Gmail if you don't set it up at your host before changing nameservers.

You can face some issues during propagation time. After propagation time everything will be fine.
