Cloud hosting is obviously better than shared hosting but it is flexible and it can be used as a VPS with better resources that shared did not.
Anyway, you should compare between cloud hosting and VPS, because shared hosting is the lowest level when an user come with web hosting and need first plans for their websites.

Cloud servers are always best, no doubt but it will depend on your need. If you have single site with the limited disk usage, bandwidth, resources then go with the shared hosting servers. Here is the detailed description of cloud server -

Cloud hosting service will have the on demand resource allocation. There is harder security setup on the cloud hosting service.

Main principle of cloud hosting is divide as per the need. Cloud used to distribute the required resources on multiple servers as used them as per the requirement. There are multiple servers work together. If one server fails then other will start loading the same task without any delay. Cloud is nothing but the one larger storage space and processor.

Here are the some of the advantages of cloud hosting for you -

1. Accessibility - Main advantage of cloud hosting is that the files are accessible anywhere and anytime. You can access the files when you would like to access without matter of place.

2. Backup facility - Cloud hosting service always have the copy of your data on the the server. So in the case of disaster, you will have the copy of data even if the data on the main server get deleted or lost.

3. Low cost solution - You will need to pay just the amount for the storage which you are actually using.

4. Secure service - You don't have to worry about the security. Cloud hosting provider will have the best infrastructure on which you don't need to worry about the security , they have their setup for security.

5. High degree of uptime

You always paste in the same info about cloud, yet never (unless I missed it) answer my questions;

How is Cloud more accessable? Any files, publicly accessable on any web server (shared, vps, dedicated, or cloud) are accessable from anywhere.

How are cloud backups better then standard backups? Pretty much all shared hosting providers provide off site backups of customer data.
A) Just because it is a backup of files hosted on a cloud, does not make it any better then backups of shared hosting files.
B) Just because the provider offers cloud, you should not assume they also provide backups.
C) You should always keep your own backups of important data, no matter what your provider offers.

How is Cloud more secure then shared hosting? The difference between shared and cloud is in the infrastructure. Cloud is still shared hosting (since you are still sharing resources with other users).

You are giving a lot of assumptions as if they are facts.

Cloud backups are not stored locally they are online backups. It's always better to have the online backups as those are safe though there is any natural disaster. You can access those backups anytime, anywhere. There are various applications available which allow you to access those stored data easily.

Traditionally, website data is hosted on a physical server (shared hosting or on dedicated hosting) in a specific physical location, offering more control over security of the data. Cloud data is shared over a network of interconnected servers, allowing you to access the data at any time, at any location and on any device.

Again, your making assumptions.

Not every (but many) cloud hosting providers offer remote backups.
Not every (but many) shared hosting providers offer remote backups.
That is not a feature limited to cloud hosting.

A website hosted on shared hosting, vps, dedicated, and cloud can be accessed at any time, at any location and on any device.
