I am really curious about wordpress. All I know about this site is that it makes blogs or website with much easier ways. Is it as good as the manual way of making a website? How convenient is it? Is it worth the try? And does it actually works? How I use it? Is it free? Sorry for having so many questions :)

WordPress is content management system which allow to build the site/blogs. It has free as well as paid version. It is simple to design and develop as well as to install.

If you are new to the web designing and do not have that much knowledge of the web site designing then feel free to go with the WordPress. There is just one click installation available for it. You can install the theme of your choice (it can be paid or free). You have to replace the contents with your contents and images with your website images.

Many shared hosting providers provide the free addon of WordPress which allow to build the website in the WordPress. WordPress has thier own hosting service too, it's your choice with which service you would like to go.

There are number of plugins available for the WordPress which provide the number of features.

WordPress is an internet, open supply web site creation tool written in PHP. however in non-geek speak, it's in all probability the best and most powerful blogging and web site content management system .

WordPress.com is something like Google's Blogger.com - with it you get yourdomain.wordpress.com and you can free your blog for WordPress. You just need to make an account and select a topic - and you're ready, in a few clicks.

WordPress.com can work with your domain, but it limits in terms of customizing the site itself. For example, you can only choose a topic from the offered, you can not change it yourself at no extra cost.

You can use WordPress.org only if you have your own domain and hosting. It is downloaded as .zip or .tar.gz compressed archive, unpacked and uploaded via FTP to the root of the site (more details about installing in the next sequel of Feeton). It is necessary to separate only a few minutes to enter the essential data, and the site can start working. With this variant you will have much greater control over your data. You will be able to install multiple themes and plug-ins. One sentence - there are no restrictions.

The continuation of the text as well as the complete series of articles will focus on wordpress.org.

WordPress is an open-source platform initially developed to create blogs. Over the time it evolved and now makes the 30% of the whole web. It is popular among bloggers, agencies, online store owners and developers due to its structure, customization and tons of resources.
