With today's level of advancement of technology is somewhat already correlated with hackers' ability to access your personal files, bank accounts and personal information by stealing your passwords. It is good for you to look for a protection (e.g. software like antimalwares) which has proven itself securing everyone's accounts and has great credibility. You can trust and at the same time not trust a certain technology. The only advice I can give to you regarding this is to ask your colleagues about a certain technology you are going to invest with about their feedback and experiences.

Technology enables a lot of easiness , but we need to know what we are doing otherwise others can always misuse our ignorance

I trust technology for my security

Guess, if your car suddenly starts by itself and drives away without you? Unbelievable, and you may probably be thinking it is farfetched. Technology is smarter than what most of us think, and if you are not vigilant then you are in for some rude shock. Believe it or not you cannot take it for granted that everything that comes with the email is clean. Today, we have seen how malicious codes and hardware are smart to the extend that it has the ability to communicate with each other. So completely relying on technology can be like expecting the car to come back safe.
