Hello. SSD VPS's have generally faster I/O Speeds than regular VPS's mainly because of the fact that they are SSD's. It really depends on what you would be using the VPS for. SSD's are a premium feature but I have never ran into speed issues with VPS's that use normal HDD's and I've tried many hosts.

It all depends on what you use your VPS for. Anything that does a lot of I/O (which if most things) will benefit from SSD. HDD will still do the job fine but will notice the bottle neck with a lot of I/O going on.

If you want a lot of storage on a budget then HDD is best, for everything else always SSD.

VP hosting is suitable for the smaller environment with the low cost. VPS servers might be slow. While SSD is the faster hosting service with high cost. SSD hosted sites are easily grab the visitors. Those are more reliable than traditional hard drives.

But VPS hosting is best for the low budget and small hosting service. Maintenance cost is also low and VPS are easy to secure.

SSD VPS can be Linux based. Here Linux is the platform whereas SSD and HDD are the types of the VPS disk. SSD or Solid-State Drive is a storage device containing non-volatile flash memory, used in place of a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) because of its much greater speed. Which VPS is good for you it depends on what you would be using the VPS for, but for Windows VPS (RDP) SSD is much better than simple HDD disk.

A popular thought regarding cloud servers is that they're able to use the resources of a multiple servers. this can be really untrue. A Cloud Server is barely able to use the resources of one machine. sadly, whereas technology has come back way, we're still unable to pool resources along from multiple machines to figure in conjunction with each other.

Linux VPS Hosting is just a "name". Because it could be Linux VPS SSD Hosting as well. SSD is just the notice which "drive" will be used in the Linux or Windows VPS.
