Which is the cheapest among standard extensions (.com, .net, .org, etc)?

Aside from new, creative domain extensions, standard ones like .com, .net, .org, local domains and the likes are still the most popular choice. Their prices, obviously, are set accordingly to said usage, although that mostly depends on the domain itself, but they mostly float around based on that.
Among them, for a standard domain with no strong or excessive keywords, which is the cheapest option on average?

.pw, .xyz, .top, .pro are the most popular and the cheapest extensions available in the new TLDs

I almost forgot about .xyz! I'm starting to see it around way more frequently nowadays, although no reputable site that I know of with this extension comes to mind. However, as I recall, Google has started to support it as well, which makes it an interesting choice. Thanks!

.pro is quite a versatile domain, and .us is nice too, but I remember reading something about needing to display your real data for that, which isn't really privacy-friendly. I like .club as well. Thanks for the suggestions!

I would say go with .info I don't know about you but I wouldn't trust a domain with .wp or .xyz, go with .info because it's cheap and there's many sites with .info It's pretty common and people would trust it in a heartbeat but of course if you can afford it, always go with .com

I bought xuy domains for 88 cents. When I renewed xyz, I had to pay $7. I bought dot online domain for 88 cents and renewal fee was $32. I registered dot com for $10 and the renewal fees was also $10. I also have dot info domain however, I git these domains for free by winning an offer on a certain forum. I don't have dort net or dot org domains.

Are you talking about aftermarket domains that are sold around the web at places like Sedo and flippa?

I ask because if you are talking about regular domains that are available to register then the prices are the same no matter what keywords are in them. If a domain in .com, .net or .org is not registered then the price would be the same for any of them no matter what was in them. The keywords would only come into play if you were buying domains from an aftermarket seller and not a registrar themselves.

If you are just talking about domains that are available to register in those extensions that you mentioned then the .com's are usually the cheapest because there are many registrars that offer promo's on them all the time for around a dollar or sometimes less. After that then .org domains would usually be the second cheapest option overall and then followed by the .net domains.

The .nets keep getting increases in their registrations these last few years because the registry that controls their prices keeps upping them little by little.
