I was reminded of this topic because my younger sister is doing a project for school and she must use a Web hosting server like Weebly or Wix. I realized that a lot of information about IT that I know now came from my experiences as a secondary and primary school student. My high school was very keen on making sure kids were up to date with technology. We had to get our iPads, and we made use of e-books all the time. Do you think it's a useful skill to learn in skill, like learning how to use a computer? The school was not the end all be all of my knowledge of course, but it did help my develop interest and steered me towards directions in which I should walk.

Sure, why not. I think with world advancement.nothing especially education is no longer age-based.

Anything can be learnt any time.

It's an excellent skill to have. There is a need to keep track with the latest technology. In fact, I built my first website in high school as an assignment for Information Technology.
Having some sort of a foundation is also great to see whether the kids are interested in.Children should be allowed to learn more practical skills instead of pure theoretical learning.
