Yes, CentosWebPanel is a nice free control panel, some good features like the ability to use Nginx + Apache and Varnish cache.
It's a free control panel so it's not stable like cPanel or Plesk but it's often updated.

Yes. I have used it.

I find their UI to be slow (or atleast for me it loads slow) and sometimes the pages do not load. It can be a bug which is fixed by now.

You might host it on a slow VPS?
I find it used old versions of PHP and MySQL, I had to update them after installed. It is not convenient for newbies who didn't have more knowledge about web hosting configurations.

Has anyone ever tried and used http://centos-webpanel.com/ for website hosting.
It offers some good features, I have not tried it as the minimum system requirements of my VPS are not met at that point of time. If you have a box that meets their minimum system requirements, give it a shot. I do not recommend using these control panels for production environment, if you plan to sell hosting.

Get industry standard cpanel or plesk for better customer satisfaction, ease of use for customers and support. Usually customers expect things should be as good as you advertise, so keep that in mind. Give best stuff to your customers and they will thank you.

If you use stuff, that are not widely used over web. You must ensure that your control panel is stable, you should offer necessary help or knowledge base, and be ready to guide your customers in every step. If you want to focus on sales, instead of wasting time on making everyone learn about alien control panel (yes, it is alien for newbies or non technical customers). Purchase cpanel or plesk.

If you have windows servers, purchase plesk license, or you can become plesk partner and get some license discounts, if you plan to use them for more servers. Plesk is good, if you sell both windows and linux servers.

If you deal with only linux, then cpanel is best. Everything else, not recommended to use in production.. Hope, it helped you. Thanks.

We manage a few for our customers and it seems ok. I have seen many people mention that their panel does feel slow and it sounds like they are working on re-developing a lot of the backend code so I assume their reasoning is to improve performance and page speeds.

I'd suggest playing around in their demo and see if you like how it feels and works.

I'm currently using CWP on some of my sites, and I find it a decent and FREE alternative to cPanel. Not recommended to use to resell hosting with, get cPanel for that

We are currently using the CWpanel on a free hosting platform to test responses from customers. So far the response that the UI needs more work. As it require a few patchs on our ended to suit our needs. We have not tried cloudlinux on that yet to see the performance as yet, in relation for production (paid hosting). All in All it a new upcoming panel with high hopes.

Actually not a bad panel. I have used it personally a few times. I do like the addons it has to offer especially the mumble plugin is nice!
