I haven't seen much talks about Ghost ( Blogging Platform ref: https://ghost.org/ ). I personally feel it's better than WordPress if your sole purpose is going to be just to blog.
Then again I am a developer so I am unsure how others have found it to be user-friendly.

I personally like Ghost. It is way less cluttered compared to Wordpress.

Firstly, Ghost is not as powerful as Wordpress let me clear this. Ghost is a simple go to Blogging platform which is not cluttered as mentioned above.
Secondly, the overall architecture of Ghost is way different than most of the blogging platforms. Ghost works on Node.js hence in terms of performance Ghost is way faster than Wordpress.

The main features for Ghost are
- Built in SEO ( XML sitemaps, Google AMP pages, canonical tags, optimized URLs, microformats, Facebook Open Graph tags and support for Twitter cards )
- Simple markup editor ( It doesn't use WYSIWYG editors )

This is taken from Ghost's website itself

Ghost is best if…

You care about a well-designed interface
Your content needs to work well for social and search
Speed and performance are important to you
You might be better off with WordPress when…

You want a full business website, not a blog or publication
Extra advanced functionality like e-commerce, is needed
You want to build your own custom features with plugins

Ghost is an amazing blogging platform, one that I really like. I tested it out on DO as they have a one click installer which is really handy.

Another one I've been messing around with lately is GRAV, a flat file platform so no databases, it's quite nice but like others are quite limited in plugins and themes compared to WordPress.

+1 for Wordpress because it has a huge of plugins and themes which made it popular and strong like that. I am building a part for Forum Web which will give more benefit to website owners and web hosting companies here to promote their services/websites and it also is being built based on WP cms.

It is very flexible and I can change or develop many things on it if wanted. If only for blogging I can build a simple cms but Wordpress can do more than that.

I think comparing Ghost and Wordpress is a bit impractical because they both target different markets. Ghost is pretty strictly usable for blogging while Wordpress has expanded so much to make managing an entire website plausible.

The main difference between ghost and wordpress is that ghost is mainly used for blogging, while wordpress became the most flexible cms availble today. The amount of plugins developed for WordPress is just second to none, therefore wordpress is better as a universal platform which can power a great variety of portals, blogs and many others.

Ghost is great for smaller blogs and more personal use. WorkPress is more well known and established, also working well with professional themes, upgrades, and plugins.

I think Wordpress supported these advantages completely through plugins.
What about its performance? which one loads faster?
I checked Ghost but their platform are using many effects which can cause high load.

Seem almost people are suggesting using Ghost for blogging. Can It do as Wordpress, like building an eCommerce site?

WordPress is well-known for its simplicity and ease of use. Ghost is a straightforward and simple platform that relies on a minimal user interface but it does not power a wide array of websites.
