I read many recommendations about Letsencrypt but not sure about services of Startssl. Does any one use both of them? can give me any feedback? which one is better and why?

Startssl had several issues with their certificates in the past few months, so you should go with letsencrypt, it's pretty easy to generate a SSL certificate for Apache or Nginx.

Given some issues and restrictions for StartSSL I prefer sticking with Letsencryptdomain. Plus it works well -- no reason to switch. However, for serious ecommerce sites a standard cert like Comodo's is superior due to better validation, wildcards, can be used on unlimited servers, warranties, compatibility, and support.

Let's Encrypt certificates presently can be used only on web-servers that can validate using the ACME protocol they use. StartCom provides the free Class 1 X.509 SSL certificate that works well for web servers (SSL/TLS) and also well as for E-mail encryption (S/MIME). It also offers Class 2 and 3 certificates as well as Extended Validation Certificates, where a complete validation (with costs) is mandatory.

I have heard that StartSSL was having some problems, like most of the famous browsers did not want to "trust" them anymore. I see that StartSSL is rarely is used by companies, better choice is Lets Encrypt.

Like mentioned above StartSSL is not as popular and widely available due to its troubled past, however Letsencrypt is solid and users like it.

Letsencrypt is free and what conditions to install it for my websites?
Will it work for all hosting control panels?

Are you on a shared cpanel hosting plan or VPS?

It works for majority of the popular control panels such cPanel or VestaCP and some like CentOS Web Panel come integrated with it.

Yes you can install it separately, the only requirement is a VPS with CentOS, Debian or Ubuntu.

Certbot, a manager for LetsEncrypt Certs, has an apache plugin that automatically reads your apache vhost configs. Very helpful

StartSSL is rarely used and has issues, whereas Letsencrypt is widely used and supported/funded by many companies.
Alternatively, use CloudFlare. They offer SSL for free, too.

Hello,
LetsEncrypt is fast and simple, while StartSSL is okay, you need to verify your domain and stuff like that. Go with LetsEncrypt.

Hmm, you do have to verify the domain with Let's Encrypt as well. You do have to verify your domain with all SSLs, in the matter of fact. If you're using some kind of add-on for cPanel or Certbot, for example, then the process of verifying the domain, installing the certificate and installing a new one when expiring, is done automaticaly.

I thought in cPanel it already supported installing Let's Encrypt and renewing it automatically.
I read some tutorials about this but I have not tried for my site yet.

There's a small possibility that I'm wrong, but the hosting provider must add the Let's Encrypt addon to WHM and cPanel, so the users could have much easier way of getting those free SSLs.

1. Startssl 3-year certificate - Letsencrypt 3 months(Automatically extended).
2- Letsencrypt automatically installed.
3- Letsencrypt USA - Startssl Israel
4- More security Letsencrypt.
5- Letsencrypt confirmed by Google.
6- Letsencrypt approved by all major platforms and browsers.
AND ... Letsencrypt the best option.
