I want to buy a few domain names like this Googleusename88.com Twitterusername123.com or Facebookusername456.com but I am not sure it is valid because these domains include Google, Twitter, Facebook in the URL. It it possible to start any domains like that?

I will suggest to avoid trademark names like google , twitter , facebook in your domain name. You can suffer with legal actions from this company and even loose the domain if they feel your domain is grabbing traffic or spoiling their brand reputation. You can even be fined for that.

Sure you can, from my experience as long as it's used positively, they'll probably do nothing and if they did, people would be mad, but if it's used maliciously, get ready to get a beautiful letter from them. :D I used to own justtwitter.com and some others as well, never had a problem.

It all depends on what you are using the site for, using a trademarked name is risky though.

Yes, you can use this domain name but please don't use numbers and avoid the trademarks. If your domain name is memorable, pronounceable and short then users can easily find your website on the internet. If you want more traffic on your website then you can choose a unique and simple domain name.

Trademarks are registered that cover certain things and are NOT just a general trademark for a name or word. You can register and use domains that have a word or name in them that are Trademarks in something that is not related to what you are using the domain for.

As an example, if you register FordParts.xxx and you would be selling auto parts then that would be a trademark violation. However if you registered the same name and used it to sell parts for Ford telescopes (Made up) then that would be ok because Ford Motor Company doesn't have a Trademark for telescopes or parts for them.

It all depends on the use of the name. You also need to make sure that you did ot register the domain in "Bad Faith" meaning that you registered it with the intention of violating a trademark or using the name to profit from a trademark holders TM.

In general though it is a good idea to stay away from domains that have a trademark in them because you can sometimes get a lot of cease and desist notices by scammers and even the TM holder.

I have been in the domain business since the 90's and have seen all kinds of things happen with TM's so I always like to stay away from them just to avoid the BS

If you are unsure of what a TM is for then you can check to see what the TM is for at the link at the bottom for US trademarks or if you want to check your/other countries TM's you can Google and usually find the site to check them on easily enough.

P.S. Buying a domain and parking it to earn parking revenue can be seen as profiting from a TM holders TM and can get the name taken away through a UDRP or even slapped with legal actions. It usually doesn't happen but it can and does.

Unless you have a really good and legitimate reason to use a domain with those names in them it would be best not to register them and avoid potential legal and financial issues.

Why would you need domains with those names in them?

I would avoid these. Even if you don't get slapped with a trademark claim, some domain providers would pull you up on this and stop you from registering these unless you have proof you are allowed to.

Either way, what is your purpose of such domain? If it isn't for legitimate use, or it's to give the impression it's popular in some sense by banking on the brand terms, the answer is obvious... please avoid. The hassle isn't worth it.

That's a good point and I forgot to mention that myself. Sometimes even if you are not violating a trademark the registrar can stop you from registering or even seize a domain after registration if it has a word or name in it that they see as potentially being used for a trademark violation.

I have known some people over that years that got their domain taken away from a registrar even later after they had started using the domain for a site that had nothing to do with the trademark in question.

I always prefer to avoid these kind of problems and just register domains that nobody has any trademarks that I can find.

Two words...Stay away!

This is more of a copyright infringement and could land you into trouble. Also, the domain name that you have chosen makes no sense to me.

Of course you can register any domain which is available for registration, no concern with trademark as long as you don't keep any connections with them, but if you keep any connection with them, they can take legal action.

It is always better to do not do these type of things by registering the domain, however if you upload anything illegal content like if it is against anyone, then it is very dangerous, so be careful.
