Scaleway for me. They're an extension of online.net and their support reputation is much better than OVH. Plus, you get better bandwidth it seems, although i'm not sure if their peering is better than OVH.

I will not care more about their support because they are unmanaged providers. I only care about their specs, hardware, ddos protection, performance,...which one is quality or better.

scaleway has 16gb more ram, more cores (although what cpu is that idk), and better outgoing bandwidth throughput, so i don't know, looks better to me.

Scaleway seems better, but all their servers are really slow, due to their Atom CPU. If you are looking for a good bandwidth, go with scaleway, but if you want good performances, choose kimsufi, the core-i5 is really faster than a Atom Avoton C2750 -> http://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare.php?cmp[]=2185&cmp[]=788

Wow i honestly don't know that scaleway use C2750 on all of their bare metals. Now i feel bad for recommending it to OP :( Learned my lesson not to speak on things i did not know the full details of i guess. I truly apologize for that mistake OP.

I like better performance it will be a plus on my decision.
Kimsufi is a branch of OVH? if so, it should have better DDOS protection? what about DDOS protection of scaleway? this provider is a branch of online.net?

For sure kimsufi will fit your needs, its a dedicated server and ovh ddos protection is great compared to scaleway/online.net. Also if you don't need much support then go with kimsufi/soyoustart.

Yes, kimsufi and soyoustart are a part of the OVH network, the DDoS protection is excellent for both of them. Online.net also provide a good DDoS protection, but they also ban user easily if they detect too much DDoS ...

If Online.net provides a good DDoS protection then they doesn't need to suspend user accounts, definitely their DDOS protection service has problems.
I also am curious about their their basic ddos protection, it can really handle ddos attacks or not.

Yes they do need to suspend, because the main reason is to push user to upgrade the ddos protection to enterprise level which i think is their goal to earn some more bucks while ovh don't charge anything and its 100% better then online.net garbage protection.

$20 extra for DDOS protection, it even is expensive than a dedicated server that they are offering.
I don't think I will pay for this pricing to have a DDos Protection while other providers are offering it as free services.

For 20€ you get Preventive protection against DDoS but if you want their enterprise level like Curative protection against DDoS you have to pay 70€ month which is more than enought for customers while other hosting companies which offer ddos protection like voxility or ovh are offering it for free upto 500Gbps.

Thanks for sharing this, that is why Scaleway didn't reveal their CPU version on their offers.
If so, other specs are good but it does not help to have a better performance.

Hello!
Dedicated server on processor i5 will be much better and more reliable than a cloud server with a 2750, this processor is much weaker.
If you need to perform complex tasks with a load on the processor, then of course take i5, if you just need a server for sites, then take c2750, there will be more RAM there.

p.s. sorry for my english
