Yes I have.
Root account is a must when I ordered a VPS plan, never forget to ask VPS provider about this.
Is that condition to check if my hosting is a VPS or a reseller?

If your a reseller you wont have root access.
If its is a true VPS enviroment hosting your in you will have full Root access without any restirction

Great answer! I saw someone ask this on a marketing forum a few months back (I think) and this was the same basic reply.

I don't remember the other replies but they were getting a bit to technical for the thread creator and then finally an answer that's basically what you stated gave the poster the information they needed.

Sometimes the simplest answers are the best!
