Hi everyone,

I am needing to host about 25+ small applications and 10 web tools. Each of them will consume about a bit more memory. Preferred Linux.

Kindly give me some advice. Thanks!

Hi steitieh

It's hard to say how much much RAM you will need deepening on how resource heavy your applications are.

You could take a look at our 4GB VPS plan for £39.99 per month https://www.ljshost.com/vps.html not exactly cheap but powerful and full of resources.

RAM is generally what really starts driving prices upward, due to servers only being capable of supporting X amount of RAM each.

However, I'm confident you will be able to get a solid deal either in the offers section or by reaching out directly to the provider to give more details about the requirements.

I can give you a fully managed vps with
4 GB RAM
150 GB Disk Space
cpanel/softaculous

for $50 per month.

If you don't need a control panel or will manage it yourself then
4 GB RAM
300 GB Disk Space

for $35 per month.

Let me know if you are interested.

Based on what I have seen, high RAM and cheap don't usually go together. You usually will only get one or the other, however I guess that depends on what you consider cheap and what you consider high RAM.

I agree but couldn't measure how much resource an app will consume.

4 GB RAM may be not enough in my mind.

As my best try, can up to $60/mo but I need recommendations to check.
There are so many good offers around on the forum, that makes me really confused in choosing the best one.
But as asked, I need cheap plan with high RAM.

I don't know why, but not many people know about Contabo. It's a German web hosting provider, whose prices are unbelievably low. I have used their VPS for a short while now, and there is nothing bad about it. Their customer support is fantastic - they usually reply within 1 hours with really detailed responses.

Their highest end VPS costs approximately $25 which includes 10-core Intel Xenon processor, 50 GB of RAM, 1200 GB SSD space, 1Gbit/s port speed, DDoS protection and more. They also have some useful extras (with additional charge), for example, backup space up to 2 TB, managed server (includes security patches, 2 hours of development work and more), full monitoring and instant setup.
The control panel is with extra charge, but control panel prices are not very huge, and there's a large variety of those - starting from free Webmin and ending with cPanel and Plesk. You may also choose which OS you like - there are multiple OS versions available - starting from Windows Server and ending with multiple Linux distributions.

I'm not connected to the hosting company mentioned above (excludes being their customer :) ). I just happen to really like their services and support.
