    Wiredtree vs Liquidweb

A friend on the forum recommended me to two hosting companies Wiredtree and Liquidweb, never used services from them in the past. Who are Wiredtree and Liquidweb. Are they more reliable and are fast hosts?

Wiredtree was acquired by Liquidweb a few months ago. We were with wiredtree for 3 years and the service we got was very good. Liquidweb is a well know reliable provider.

Personally, I have never used either service. However I've heard good things about both providers, so even with the recent acquisition of Wiredtree by Liquidweb, I think you will be in good hands.

Have been with Wiredtree for 8+ yrs and referred alot of my consulting clients to them who have been there almost as long 6+ yrs for alot of clients. Liquidweb bad communication of the buyout and migration has left a sour taste in many WT clients mouths and alot are moving away. You can read here for more user experiences with this.

I used WirdTree many many years ago for a VPS, never used LiquidWeb but know they always did have an excellent rep. Seems many are not happy with WT as mentioned by @eva2000.

True Even if they are offering Managed Dedicated server , I personally find their cost on higher end for the configuration you have specified. Feels like its the cost of Brand name they have built, if you search properly you might surely get a good Managed server provider at much reasonable price, thing is you need to do a bit of research check company existence in web hosting business need to check reviews of those shortlisted companies, try to email or chat with them to see their response time and ability to help you. This are some of the point I feel a customer can try before signing up with any company.
