We currently are using the latest stable CentOS 6 64-bit, and I would like to know what the benefits and advantages of switching to CloudLINUX are? Other that the ability to use LVE, does CloudLINUX reduce CPU/RAM usage or any other operation system resource? Does it improve stability or availability on a VPS or virtual environment?

If it's only for one person - then CentOS is fine. CloudLinux includes many features, sure - but it's mainly for hosting companies, meaning you won't get much benefit if it's only you using it.
It does improve stability by using the resource limitation features it offers (LVE).

As Localnode mentioned it depends upon the role of the server, if its for selling shared hosting than CloudLinux is a must, having each account separated into a light weight virtual environment significaly improves security and stability, if one account gets compromised it wont affect the resources of the whole server. CloudLinux is virtually an improved version of CentOS, so you will still have access to CentOS repository. If you ever need to raise a ticket their support team is quite quick with the response times.

CloudLinux is designed specially for hosting large amounts of sites and preventing overloading. If you do not need strict account resource management no point in switching to it.

Why I don't see CloudLinux in OS options on my hosting company, it is a paid service and I need to go to official its website to buy? and specially how to install it.

You can buy it directly from them, or through various resellers. Lowest advertised price I've seen is $10 monthly.
As for installing it - start with CentOS and then conver it. See here for official documentation.
Some resellers offer to install it as well (or convert).

CloudLinux does not reduce RAM or CPU usage but lets you limit how much of these an account uses. So as other have said if this is for one account then there is no real advantage for Cloudlinux.

Hi McKay,

Yes, CloudLinux is a licensed product. Your hosting provider might be able to provide you for a license you will need to ask.
If need you will need a base CentOS server and upgrade it with your own license.

One of the main advantages to using CloudLinux on a server that is Shared by many users is the ability to use CageFS which helps a lot security wise. If you have a VPS where you look after all your own sites then CageFS is not as important, and if you have your own VPS you would not want to limit resources for your own sites, and so, in that case, CloudLinux may not be needed. However, CloudLinux is a must in a Shared hosting environment.

I check Installations and Configurations from Cloudlinux and I have to say that I have to stick with Centos on almost my servers, I found difficult in integrating Cloudlinux for my hosting. Using it is not for a normal user.

Cloud linux is better in shared environment, but honestly the customers will face issues some times because CL will give very less options in terms of virtual memory, IO usage for a usage. Thus probably if you run multiple php scripts or heavy processes , you will get a common error like "resource limit reached" .

If you are running a very high end server with 500+ clients, etc.., cloudlinux makes your life much easier not having to worry about clients overloading the server as much. No real benefits for a single site on a server by itself.
Cloudlinux can be a bit faster and handle high loads better.

If your running a shared hosting environment better to go for cloudlinux. CloudLinux OS increases server density and enhances security. We can set custom resources to user. I'm using cloudlinux it's really nice.
