Hello forumweb!

I am looking to hire people to help me with my web hosting company. I need people willing to help with posting content and backlinking. I also need moderators for my forum and support staff that are knowledgeable with cPanel, WHM, MySQL, etc.

If you are interested, please post here with the best way to contact you. Pay will be determined when we get more customers.

I doubt anyone is really naive enough to pay any attention to this but let me put this out there.

1. Never consider a "job" because of a posting in an online forum. Very unprofessional

2. Never consider a "job" that doesn't give a predetermined pay under after the business has started and they see if they can even afford to pay you

3. Never consider a "job" working for someone who doesn't even change the footer of their website so it doesn't show copyright info for pre-made theme for a free forum software

Sorry for being a **** but you will thank me later. Happy holidays :drinks:

Your points about the copyright information make no sense. It is against the law to remove someone's copyright unless clearly said otherwise in their TOS.

Never post about something if you don't know what you're talking about.

The point I am making is a professional company shouldn't be using software that requires the retention of copyright information.

What exactly are you offering against work that the possible employee will do for you since you said "Pay will be determined when we get more customers"

You are not going to get many takers that are willing to work for free without knowing what they are working towards (pay). You have an interesting marketing plow also, with posting for hosting, interesting. Good luck.

Some of the comments above id have to agree with but id never shoot down anyone attempt to improve there company. However it is true your website needs a bit of work you might be able to get some help with hiring an individual from https://post4vps.com/ but never stop working hard you never know what you'll fine or what blessing may come your way.

Good luck on your venture.

I don't think you'll make much with Post2Host or offering free hosting. I've been there and got the t-shirt so to speak. That said, it's good to learn as much as you can about anything, and everything related to web hosting to know what does and doesn't work.

Offering free hosting or P2H is useful for learning and due to the service being offered (nearly free) you're less likely for someone to try to sue you. For example, if something should go wrong, e.g., you lose all their data due to a hardware issue and have no backups, but you have no terms of service to cover you. But if you know enough to go straight into offering paid hosting only (I'm not sure what you know) then I'd go that route and concentrate all your effort into that, and with a lot of time and patience you could do well.

Offering P2H or free hosting doesn't make much profit at all, and all it does is use up a lot of admin time for you and those helping you run the business. I hope none of my opinions has offended you. You do whatever you think is best for you. I'm just going by experience that offering free services to try to get customers to switch to paid doesn't work as well as you think it might. I would suggest getting a decent Reseller account (if you haven't already) and offer paid hosting services, do design for family & friends and local businesses by using a site builder like SiteMush or WordPress or something like that, and it'll take off in no time at all. Offering P2H and free hosting may give the wrong impression.

Regarding the work, there is no pay. You may as well just ask someone with good knowledge of hosting to partner up with you and to go 50/50 on all costs to get things going.

Hope that helps.

Your website layout and design is too lame to attract customers. I have doubts anyone would apply for a job posted by you. Work on your website and presentation first.

I think a consulting session will benefit you the most. I have verifiable proof and a record of turning new web hosting businesses into successful ones. For $10,000 I can spend a week with you and get you going on the right path as well as providing you with a road map for the next few years as you surpass certain milestones. Alternatively, I can make you an offer of 24x your monthly revenue next year so I can build it up and sell it at market.

Sorry to go off topic but that's a very expensive "consulting fee" . And Umm back on topic - it's going to be very difficult to find people to work for free :)

I'm sure you can get some people just starting out for free, but if you aren't willing to train them and then pay them before they have the experience to work for someone else who will pay them, your going to need to find some really close friends knowledgeable in server management, or save up some money to hire staff.
