I am planning to create a substantial video training course for my niche. it will have 50 essential courses with the total 16 GB of data. It's a niche high in demand and I have a list to promote it. However, my concern is that the server can accommodate the video watching/downloads when products goes online like videos Youtube, I can not host videos on Youtube in this case because they are online courses to sell and not possible for public. I was thinking of uploading to a private Youtube channel but does that come across is non-professional. Where do you guys host reliable video training courses? and what web cms should I use to showcase training videos?

Are you wanting to host it on an external site, or are you comfortable self hosting?

I want to host on my hosting that I can control videos and web cms for them. Does hosting video sites differ from hosting other type of data? It should load fast so viewers can watch videos without waiting so long.

Depend on your budget you could go a on Cloud platform where you can scale with your demand and host these video directly using red5 and WordPress as CMS.

red5? it is a tool to record videos from conferences or video streaming?
Cloud or VPS hosting is a great choice to host multi sites.

red5 is open source media streaming platform, would be perfect for streaming his training course to his client and keep the video secured with some token plugins as example.

To professional host videos I would really suggest a vimeo account. It is made for these types of situations. You can lock down the videos to only be viewed from your domain etc.

I would say install a WP and add a wordpress. Get a quality host and host your website and videos on it.

Hello, There are many video training platform and a popular streaming place for video tutorials are "Youtube"! However if you would like to stream your training really secure and accessible to only students who have subscribed to you or if you would like to monetize the videos under your business brand, then I would suggest you to create your own video streaming platform for your training video content to stream online more secure and with zero buffering! :)
