Actually, I have a VPS server which is in UK but this one is for UK people but I have another domain which is for US (United States) audience and this website runs under the same server...
I'm looking for the best solution for US audience and I don't know if it is better to use a new US server or use CDN and if the second option is better, what's the best option? Can I use a VPS in UK to target US audience?

In short, yes. It depends on how resource heavy the website is. If visitors from the US haven't reported any issues due to the website being hosted on a UK server, then I'd leave it. By putting the US website behind a CDN such as CloudFlare it'll help, but mainly with static content, not dynamic content. Again, it depends on the type of website.

Another solution is to move the US website to its own Web hosting account in USA location, but keep the rest of the websites hosted on the VPS in UK location.

Try doing some page loading tests using tools.pingdom.com

Any website loading under 2 seconds is acceptable, but of course, the faster, the better.

Don't worry about the server location, all my servers are in France and my websites are loading in less than 2sec in US.
If you want to improve your website performance abroad, use cloudflare, it's free : https://www.cloudflare.com/cdn/
