what you are looking for exact ? ..Just contact that web hosting organization , sign up for the reseller package and you will received the login details of your reseller account.

Make the packages , finalize the price , create the website , integrate the billing system and start marketing and selling.

The hosting company should give you more details in terms of reselling, some host offer your own custom control panel and will also create you a website solely for this purpose. With out reselling program we offer the business website as well as the control panel and everything the reseller needs to be productive.

Hi Philippe

Sounds like you are describing being an affiliate rather than a reseller. Affiliates make a commission of the % rate set by the hosting provider however resellers set their own prices.
If you want to be your own reseller you can get some good web hosting themes for WordPress which you can link to a back end ordering and provisioning system such as WHMCS.

I am not in plans to become a web host that selling hosting plans, as asked, I want to have blog that offering hosting plans to get commission but this way seems not be used more nowadays. More people can move to reseller account which can get directly money from their sales..

Usually the way affiliate programs work is you sing up with that hosting company then they give you a link. You give that link to your customers. When they use the link and sign up at the hosting company that sale is associated with your affiliate account. Then the hosting company sees a sale was made via your affiliate account, then they pay you (after their terms are met)

As a reseller, you can make more money in the long run, but you will also have expenses, have to provide support for your customers, etc.

If you don't want to do all of that, you can become a affiliate for a quality hosting company. Then you simply refer customers to the hosting company and earn a commission when someone orders hosting from them.

Be sure to check the affiliate commission's. Most give a 1 time commission, however some give reoccurring commissions for the life of the customers account.

I hope this is not true. I was under impression that hosts will pay commissions on recurring base, as long as referred customer is using their services. Correct me if I am wrong.

I thought a reseller was similar to an affiliate who resells web hosting packages.

How a reseller can solve these problems, it looks like a small hosting company that providing all services related to web hosting, customer care service, technical support, sale mans and marketing..etc.

As a reseller of web hosting you are basically usually just buying web hosting from a hosting provider and then splitting what you are paying for into smaller hosting packages and marketing and selling that.

As an affiliate you wouldn't have the expense of buying hosting and all you would have to do is to market/promote a web hosting company's web hosting services, make some sales and collect your commissions.

Correct, and that is the part a lot of people overlook.

As a affiliate, you simply refer customers to a web hosting company, and you get paid a commission if they sign up.

As a reseller, you are starting a web hosting business. Most small-medium sized hosting providers are resellers of some sort. They either use a reseller account, or they order dedicated servers and install cPanel/Plesk/Virtualizor and reseller the space on those servers. As a hosting business, you have to be a business man, customer support, sales, and tech support yourself, until you are at the point you can hire additional staff.

It is easy to signup for affiliate programs offered by web hosting companies. What the affiliate needs to do is to match up to the terms and conditions for the affiliate provider, and if all is fine then the approval process is completed, and the affiliate can avail benefits of the affiliate program.

Op there is no need to be sorry for the confusion as the term reseller is used loosely in some area of the web hosting business. There are some turn key programs that allow you to create some space and service without a "reseller /cpanel account" and sell it gain a commission or become affiliates. I recommend do a search for turnkey web hosting and re seller affiliate web-hosting programs in google. I recommend to consider which option that will be best in the long run "reseller/WHM" or "reseller/Turnkey". The former will provide the most stable income if done right.
