How much time do you spend each day working at your hosting company to fix problems on your hosting servers or support your customers? It is daily tasks or you just do when you have requests from your customers?

If you are a hosting company like us that also operates their own datacenter, then there's always something to do. If you're not supporting clients, you're provisioning new server orders, performing backups, maintenance, monitoring, security checks, etc. I typically find myself wishing there were more hours in the day.

Some days can be quite but others you have five different things your working on at the same time.

Well at TurnKey Internet, we have many shared hosting servers. We rarely have to perform any hardware maintenance, but there's always audits to perform, monitoring traffic and resources, as well as performing security checks, malware/spam checks. There's also VPS/Cloud and dedicated servers that we need to also monitor as well, plus our colocation clients. It is a lot of hard work but knowing our customers are happy makes it very rewarding!
