There are some inputs on initial setup for WHM I could not clarify what I should fill up into them

Here is some screenshots that I captured when I am installing WHM on a VPS

In Primary resolver, I should add 8.8.8.8? and in Secondary Resolver is my IP address which I used to setup WHM?

and what is IP for Entry? What IP should I add into it?

Kaz,

These are the name server which you want your server to use to resolve dns lookups
You can either use your hosting providers/public or your server can be it's own resolver. (if bind is installed)

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4 are public Google DNS servers which you are free to use https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/

Primary resolver 8.8.8.8
Secondary resolver 8.8.8.4

I wish I could know this earlier

I added my IP address for Secondary resolver so it can cause some problems or where I can change this in WHM after installed?

Adding the servers own IP for the secondary will only function if bind is installed and enabled on your installation.

This is easy to change,

From WHM:

Home > Networking Setup > Resolvers.

I guess, you are not familiar with WHM/cPanel, I would suggest you to go with managed plan from your hosting provider.

Yes I am running WHM/cPanel for my websites and I feel it is good and no reason to go with managed plan at this time.

Hi LJSHost,

I used your resolvers as suggested.

Primary resolver 8.8.8.8
Secondary resolver 8.8.8.4

but I am receiving emails like this

dns-resolvers.jpg

8.8.8.4 failed to respond. Can I change to different resolvers?
