What do you look for in a Reseller plan?

As a hosting provider we are always implementing features which could benefit our user base the most.
My question is, what features in specific do you look for in a Reseller plan?

e.g.
Do you look for cloud Resellers?
SSD Reseller?
Max storage and bandwidth vs price?
Quick 24/7 support?
Daily backups?
Security/DDOS protection?


Would love to know your preferences :)

I would choose these features because SSD and quick support (prefer live support), a good price is an advantage.

Security/DDOS protection, why not? it's very necessary or a must to have on web hosting plan today. If not, your site can be down with bot traffic or DDOS attacks.

From your signature, I can know you are a provider that selling reseller plans, so from your experience, what are best features for a reseller plan?

For me, I would choose all these features

Do you look for cloud Resellers?
SSD Reseller?
Max storage and bandwidth vs price?
Quick 24/7 support?
Daily backups?
Security/DDOS protection?
But I don't know how to be sure if the provider send me a cloud Reseller, how to check or get confirmation from them?

About supporting 24/7, I consider this as an important thing when I buy a hosting service, especially via live chat, because sometimes hosting has the problems, I can contact them immediately without waiting for a long time to get a support via tickets.

From my experience live chat has been the most effective for us which is also what kept our customers happy. it allows for simple questions to be answered fast and for urgent tickets to be pushed up the line.

I suppose there is no way exact way of finidng out if its cloud however you could ask for information such as data center and so on to figure it out.
you can ask them, lying is very bad for companies reputation so there is a good chance they will not lie straight to you (may do indirectly by twisting words). when it comes to us, every single one of our services is ran on the cloud.

Yes 24/7 specially for a reseller account is very important and as i mentioned, chat service working with the ticket system can help customers out a great deal.

# How many storage one can provide.
# How much bandwidth is allocated.
# How many cPanel/Plesk accounts, one can create.
# Lastest PHP and Features are supported or not.
# SMTP, default ports are allowed, email client config etc.
# Incremental Backup, and can restore when requires.
# 1-Click Installer to install all the popular CMSs and E-commerce sites instantly.
# Cron-Jobs / Scheduled tasks allowed or not.
# 99.9% Uptime.
# 24/7 Support through Live Chat and Help Desk.
# Social Media Interaction via Skype if possible etc..
