I am wondering, how does a shared plan host multiple domains?

When I buy a shared hosting, my hosting providers allow to add-ons more domains into my cPanel but shared hosting always limit more things. It is risky if you putt too many sites into a shared package? your sites could be suspended if they run out of resource of hosting?

What do you guys think?

If your websites doesn't have too much traffic then I guess you wouldn't have much problem to put multiple websites in one shared hosting plan.

Any web hosting company has her own rules about bandwith and ressources usage.

But if you don't have lot of visitors on your website (less than 5000 per day), it will not used more ressources to host multiple websites on your shared hosting. But it's the limit with shared hosting, if you have many users, hosting many websites, server become to be slow and it's for this reason you will prefer a small vps to host multiple website, and after a dedicated.
I'm currently trying to compare my website speed on VPS and dedicated, and even if VPS have SSD, it's a SSD shared with others.

So should I put each website on a shared hosting or try to upgrade shared hosting package to a better one or VPS?

For total of users on a site under 5000 per day, should I go with a VPS with how features?

How can you elaborate this? it is possible to choose a VPS without sharing resources with others?

If you have 3 or more website I will recommend you a VPS hosting, it will cost the same than a shared hosting.

Any VPS will work fine if you only install a web server on it (apache or nginx + php + mysql). As any webserver choose VPS with SSD.

VPS is a solution to host multiple virtual machine on a dedicated host. But it's mean any ressources is shared with others and the virtual ressources are limited for each user by the virtualization.
The only part of a VPS which can be dedicated is the hard drive. All others ressources are managed by the virtualization solution.

The resources of your VPS are guaranteed by the terms of selected plan. And you should look not only at the number of visitors, but on the load that these users create. Also, for multiple domains you can use a reseller plan.

I suggest to get good webhosting package and host only one domain per hosting account.
