Was working on a keyword muay thai gear for a website muaythaiaddict to show on google search pages. The ranking was fluctuating from page 6 to page 7 and to page 5 from few weeks .A week ago it was finally on page 3.And this morning when i checked the status it was no where to be found. Not in the listing of 100 as well. Not even in the 2nd page. When the ranking drops for a particular keyword i understand it drops to page 7 or 8 but its atleast visible.
Can anyone tell me what might have gone wrong?or is there any update that am unaware off?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks.

This could be down to lots of reasons...

Probably the most common is when you use a blog roll on your home page and with adding new posts the old posts are moved to an archive... Due to the post no longer appearing on the home page the amount of link juice is reduced and hence can impact your rankings.... So the question I ask you is whether you have added new posts to your site and have those posts changed the linking structure?

Another reason could be down to loss of backlinks....

If you want to increase your rankings for that post then I recommend that you use silos to funnel link juice to your target page and if you can get some quality links to your post....

It's called "Google Dance".

In search engine optimization (SEO), Google Dance is an out-dated slang term used to describe the period of time in which Google used to rebuild its rankings, and as a result of this rebuilding, rankings of Web sites on Google's SERP may fluctuate in order during a several day period.
Hi mate did you check your domain with Google Sandbox and Penalty Checker Tool or any tools is your domain got any penalty. You can check your domain with this tools here.
Those Google Sandbox and Penalty Checker Tool are pointless and do not work! There is no tool that can tell you if your site is sandboxed or penalized by Google since these are not things that Google shares with anyone in anyway other than a warning message you will get in Webmaster Tools.

Please don't rely on these false security tools that try to tell you if your site is sandboxed or penalized.

If your site is sandboxed, it's also de-indexed.

Search your site in Google with "site.com" and if it shows your site then its NOT been sandboxed.

A penalty will be shown to you in Webmaster Tools (if it HAS been penalized).

After check your domain let us know your update so that we can discus your issue and share our knowledge to each other best of luck happy search engine optimization.
Those stupid tools are nothing more than traffic bait. Utterly freaking worthless. Little more than a BS calendar preying on noobs.

Keep calm.

Let the site sit for a while and see where it settles.

Just as you would not determine your long term investing strategy based on daily fluctuations in the market, you shouldn't determine your long term SEO strategy based on ranking fluctuations on one particular day. You'll be okay, check again in another week.

Well, not giving away your niche publicly on forums would be a start.
