Hello everyone,
My fiancee, a friend of ours, and I have been working for months on this site. We just recently launched it and any help that you can give me would be appreciated.
The site is:
btc-raffle.com

It is a Bitcoin Raffle Gambling Site. We already have some members/players that are on all the time.
Any incite and comments would greatly help.

Thanks, I cant wait to hear back from you all.

I think it looks nice, clean and modern.

But I have no clue what it is. Seems like some kind of money game. Unless your visitors know what it is, so you don't have to explain it. Most visitors wouldn't have a clue or know what to do.

Thank you for your input. It is a Bitcoin Raffle Site. You deposit some BTC to your account and buy tickets(The Amount per ticket and maximum tickets per game vary, depending on which lobby you are in). It shows who has bought tickets, how many tickets bought, and a percentage for each player.

A lot of people know what BTC is and about BTC Gambling sites. Most of our marketing is done in Blogs or forums related to this niche and of course Social Media Networks. It has only been up for a week, it has been doing pretty well so far but I wanted to reach out here and see what everyone had to say.

Thanks

That's kind of the point, you know exactly what it is, but how many of your visitors will? You shouldn't assume every visitor will get it, no matter where or how you market. If so you'll lose potential users/players.

You don't need to explain it to me, explain it to your visitors on your site.

Site looks good, layout is simple, clean and easy on eyes.

But it makes me some minutes to understand how it works...You may need to add a link to guide how to use it.

Interesting concept. Nice modern layout. Although I can see the basic principle of the site something to do with bc and winning bc by buying raffle entries in which you can win bc with to use on entering more raffles to win more bc and so on. I hope that's basically right? But also agree with others here in that although you do have a FAQ page you definitely need to work on adding the right text on the homepage to let people know what it is and how it works. Like at the top you've got in white text "BTC Raffle - the most popular raffle site". You could make that more descriptive. "raffle site" is nothing new but "bitcoin raffle site" or something would be better perhaps?

That said I'm still trying to get my head around bc although I know the concept is as simple as it is genius really I'm yet to open a bc wallet or create my own bc wallet or work out and angle where I can cash on in this gravy train like you are my friend! :)

Looks of your website is simple. But at first glance I am not able to understand, how to deal with it. You should put guidance link or article in your website.

Very difficult to determine what the site is about on first glance. Perhaps you could
add some verbiage on the main page, or at the very least, within the FAQ page.

I agree with the others above, in that some descriptions and details on what exactly the site is about/for would greatly help visitors.

You're off to a good start, you just need to do some fine tuning and a little work and i'm sure you guys will do well with it.

Good Luck

The front page of the site is perfect for those already logged in. For first time visitors... I would put a slide show or maybe three circles with:
Choose a Lobby
Bet your Bitcoins
Get lucky!
And a link to the FAQs to learn more. Also in the FAQs I would put the last item first.
