What makes you choose Wordpress for your website.

Free and easy to customize?
SEO and friendly with search engines?
There is worldwide community support?
Best plugins and easily develop according to your way?

What are your reasons? Do you consider to switch to another CMS if you are using WP on your site? if yes then why?

All of the reasons you've stated in the form of questions above, are the reasons that I use WordPress for almost all of my sites and projects. Another thing is that WordPress is so flexible. What use to be a blogging software is now being used by most people to build fully functional websites and e-stores. Just my two sense. Chao!

There are several different options out there that can do about the same things that WordPress can do. However, with the vast amount of available plugins, themes, services and other features, WordPress is hard to beat.

Also, since there are so many WordPress websites, blogs and users of WordPress, it's always easy to find out helpful information for anything that you might need answers for.

There's Drupal, Joomla and some other similar platforms out there but WordPress just has so much availability of so many different resources that choosing it is a fairly easy decision in most cases.

So I don't have to make HTML webpages by hand any more. :)

And as already mentioned, it's so flexible these days. I can have a blog or a ecomm store, or both at the same time. Can build membership sites as well.

I have been using Wordpress and it is always my first choice as a blogging software. I have checked other open source blog software, but none comes close to Wordpress. The number of themes and plugins wordpress offers just makes blogging fun. And not only blogs, you can create beautiful websites too since Wordpress is just not a Blogging software, but a whole CMS.

Well the real question is why not WP, its currently the most popular choice of CMS for small, medium and big websites. Not to mentioned the ease of use, tasks which otherwise would be tedious and time consuming are simplified to the bare minimum, with a almost a endless choice of plug'n'play features.

I agree with you, this is reason why I used Wordpress on all my blogs. It is easy to control and using beautiful theme and great plugins.

Exactly these made Wordpress become popuplar because it focused on small and medium sites. I dont know any big sites out there are using Wordpress or not.

I also have an online shop and building base on Wordpress, it works as well. I think it has great functions that a normal user needs.

Some are so heavly modified with plugins that is almost impossible to tell, not too sure if this is a good example but 9gag and similar websites are based on Wordpress if I'm not mistaken.

Wordpress in my eyes is completely horrible but it does work for most people. I prefer put php/html sites because search engine crawlers tend to pick up better information than Wordpress sites.

That being said their are pro's and con's to both.

I chose to use WordPress on some of my websites because it is easy to create almost any type of website, it has a very large amount of themes, plugins and information around the internet, it's easy to maintain and it has updates very often.

I tried some other CMS's for my websites that use WordPress but none of them were as good as WordPress is for the reasons that I stated above.

I would say its one of the oldest and most regularly developed CMS application , which is the primary reason we consider them.
Second easy to use and lots of inoformation, themes , plugins security updated available for WP.

And lastly I would consider the point that its free.

That's a good looking website. Nice and clean and easy to navigate, I like it.

Do you get a lot of NGO's utilizing your free service?

I chose to use Wordpress because of the vast amount of plugins and themes that are available for it. That makes it nice and saves time since you usually don't have to do much code work if you need a look or feature that the Wordpress core software doesn't have.

We use WordPress due to how much you can really customize it. Personally we made our template from scratch and I love how easily plugins work with our template. Not much work is needed to make plugins look good on a customer point of view on the website.

WordPress one of the most dominant platforms available for creating a blog or a website. WordPress is an open source content management system that does not cost a fortune and is based on PHP and MySQL. WordPress include plugin architecture along with the template based system.

Mostly because most of the time i buy themes on themeforest and the ones that i like are only on wp. Also maybe because of the plugin support

Same to you, i used to do custom parts on my WP site in the past but now I prefer buying existed themes from themeforest, it is faster to have a WP site without consuming time for creating new themes.

Web users are mostly using wordpress as best cms platform. It is best suited for web developers, in order to build professional websites both for commercial and individual use. Also, you get advanced options, and flexibility.

I feel the main reason Wordpress is now a dominating platform is due to extensibility. Developers are able to change Wordpress up to its Core. It is no longer considered as just a Blogging platform. Even major business's have opted to use Wordpress over a custom PHP website.
