Having more websites on 2 VPS but I want to know if I own multiple VPS servers then it has more advantages than using a a single dedicated server (host all websites)?

which is more economical and effective for performance?

That depends on the specs of your VPS's and how much your paying for them.

The benefit to getting your own server is, its your own server. No risk of being on a oversold VPS or other VPS's affecting yours.

Add up your total system resources between your VPS, then look for a server with comparable specs. If you get a server, you can get a unlimited VPS Virtualizer licence for $8/mo so provisioning the VPS's will be easy and still cheap.

Hello winson,

I would say go for Multiple VPS's atleast then if one VPS goes down you could host your websites on the secondary VPS which will avoid downtime, usually a Dedicated Server would be more expensive than two VPS's together, depending on your specifications that you need. So two VPS's should be more economical than a dedicated server especially with so many hosts out there that do great deals on VPS's.

Regards,
Adam

Price of VPS is low so I will opt for multiple VPS.

Benefit:
- Less downtime If we purchase from various providers and not depend on single provider.
- Can take backup of VPS A to VPS B or vice-versa
- Cheap price
- Easy to use for commercial purpose

This depends entirely on the resources required between the sum of the VPS servers. Without knowing your requirements, it's impossible to accurately recommend one solution over the other.
