I'm also using sublime. It makes to split screen, which is convenient if you work e.g. with HTML+CSS. And it is easy to work with plugins, that make coding process a bit easier.

Notepad++ for me, it is very lite and user friendly.
I also use atom sometimes for the fun of it, but I always go back to Notepad++.

I saw people mention Sublime elsewhere and I am planning on trying it, might be worth looking into.

I like to use Brackets because it has a live preview so anytime you change the code you will see the affect it has on the website you use and it's free!

I'm using Sublime text for editing codes about HTML because it guides the user to make correct codes and it is a user friendly application that can make your code editing more easier. It helps me to familiarize in every single code when I'm editing.

Currently, I love atomio. It’s on GitHub, it’s fully customizable, smart, works on a lot of environments.

Honestly, I have yet to find a favourite code editor that would satisfy all of my needs. I like editors like Atom and Sublime but they both have serious problems that make them undesirable. E.e. both have performance issues on my laptop, which requires a lightweight editor.

Also Atom had some serious issues about setting up Go, specifically reading the environment variables and lacking features that should be apart of the editor itself, instead of delegating them to packages.

I love Vim for being incredibly versatile, customisation, and high performance, but has a really steep learning curve and by nature some of its features are inherently primitive.

So I’m still waiting to find my holy grail of of code editors, that would totally väblow me away.

Notepad++ without a doubt :)

A very clear UI, with tonnes of plugins and a lot of good resources.
