Hello,

On my cpanel server i can see a server load of 5.7 when checking with htop

cpanel-sever-load.jpg

Sometimes it goes for a few seconds to 12 and then back to 5 again or lower

Is this ok or high?

The server is:

2 vCores
4 GB RAM

I am a bit confused how is this calculated based on number of cores...

Thank in advance.

Definitely overloaded. You should either look into some upgrades or a new server.

Your screenshot doesn't show the load, it shows the apache server using 5.7% CPU. This is not the load.

The load is listed on the top right in 3 spearate reading. It gives the average of the last 1min, 5min and 15mins. Are you seeing this column and if yes, what the average loads there on all 3 columns?

Yes you have only displayed the % CPU use for the cores used, you need to check the load average figure.
