Can I set up alerts for when a CDN is down?

My website is using free Cloudflare and sometimes the CDN is not properly working and images aren't loading while my hosting is still working as well.
Can I automatically get a notification whenever the CDN is not working properly? I don't see any one mentioned about this technique.

You could write a homegrown script that checks for the presence of an image file, or tries to download it. When it fails then send you an alert. I don't know of any commercial platform that would specifically look for images, like pingdom, monitor.us etc. they only check for the loading of a webpage.

That sounds odd, can you provide some screenshots when it isn't working? Which images don't load!?

Which language to write this script and where should we put it on?

I got this when website was loading error. I check my hosting and it was still working, maybe a problem from free Cloudflare?

@AaronLavers that doesn't seem to be an issue with Cloudflare, rather an issue with your web host as it states in the image! Maybe your host does not have Cloudflare IPs whitelisted!? They have access to server logs and so should be able to check this for you.

What is Cloudflare IPs whitelisted? why it is related in this case?
It want to let you know it happened just on my location and i checked other locations, all the rest worked.
What file log do you want to see? where? I also would give it a check.
