Excuse me if I'm wrong here, but I wanted to know if you have experiences with woocommerce and wordpress. I developed a corporate site with wordpress, and I would like to connect an ecommerce and do not know whether to stay with wordpress, and then install WooCommerce‎, or having the site that installing prestashop. What do you advise? pros and cons? The idea of woocomerce as a plugin does not convince me, even if I sell, at least for now, I need a better solution, so it's not a complex stuff.

Good morning,
I currently use WooCommerce for customer's website which is very easy to use. I think that Prestashop is too difficult for my customers.

WooCommerce is quite solid when it comes to Wordpress eCommerce plugins, however you have some alternatives like WP eCommerce, Ecwid, Jigoshop, MarketPress, iThemes Exchange and some other less popular ones.
There is always the 3rd party CMS options like zencart, magento, prestashop and some other enstablished solutions.

Another thumbs up for WooCommerce here :D
WooCommerce is the #1 ecommerce plugin for WordPress, it's designed to be easy to configure and use.

All the best to you getting your store up and running.

The main difference between Woocommerce, and the other platform like Prestashop or Magento, is the ability to create a multi-store.
With a single Prestashop, you can host several stores and use a domain for each of them.
If Woocommerce is easier to use at the begginning, it require often to use paid plugins to have the same features then Prestashop or Magento.
The new Prestashop version has been released few days ago (1.7). You can take a look to see if it's better for your business

There might be template constraints from the corporate theme you are using/have developed and the Woocommerce system. The only way to find out is to test :)

I agree with you, to find out which is the best ecommerce platform for Wordpress then we need to test, but this requires more times to explore things on a new platform while if you have good advice from people used it, then you can not waste of time for testing.

In my personal opinion, I will choose Wordpress + Woocommerce, it is easy to customize and adding addons to manage your online store.

What is it about WooCommerce that you are stuggling with? To answer your queston, ultimatley it depends on how big your shopping cart is going to be. Do you have an idea regarding how many products or product categories you will be starting out with?

I don't know is WooCommerce is the best, but is most popular and most of WP themes developers add support for woocommerce.
As someone mention plain woocommerce is good for basic staff, but if you want more from that plugin you need addons.

Just find out what is best for social connection and sharing, also what is best for SEO (or may I say cheaper).
Maybe Is Magento better alternative (didn't explore it)

I think Magento is better than almost others but it's very complicated. People need a high technical skills to manage or edit it. (I see that usually a team to do this). For easier and simpler for almost user, WooCommerce is the best choice now.

Magento is build for Multi-store setup. One of my customer is running 60 stores on a single Magento instance, but it's pretty hard to setup and to configure Magento properly.
For me WooCommerce should be used for very small store but it doesn't offer enough features and like always with WordPress, Plugins are making the website slow and not secured.
Prestashop is already better, it can be setup easily, and it include almost all features required to start selling including payment gateways, shipping management and also multi-language store.
