I'm only granting permission to all to do anything but why does the system crash by giving permissions only? I'm only modifying the permission not changing the files. What are the reasons?

Like for any other operating system, you should not edit anything on system files.
And why do you want to give all permissions on all files ?

Having anything world writable is a VERY bad idea unless the web application states this implicitly in the documentation.
Don't trust random articles on the internet, most of the time they are written by people who are far from experts in the subject.

What error are you getting ?
Did you change every file on this server to 444 or 777 ? or are you on shared hosting ?

I am not sure maybe chmod 7777 has a full access to all the other users.
