I read an article about how to install WHM/cPanel on this forum and I suppose it's not too hard to install on an unmanaged VPS. I want to buy a VPS and install cPanel on it.
my question is, Can I try WHM/cPanel for 1 month for free before purchasing it? when I install cPanel, do I need to provide some information like license ID, key or something else to continue?

Waiting for your answers. Thanks

The cPanel does not provide free trials. You may be able to find a hosting provider that will not charge you for the license for the first month, but that is not likely since they still have to pay cPanelbfor the license.

~David,
Hi David,

You can use it for up to a month before you are required to purchase a license.

If you're looking for a cheap cPanel license, I highly recommend buycpanel.net. Their support is top-notch.

~David,
They do not offer free trial period however there are a few hosting providers allowing free WHMCS if you purchase from them (their packages are so expensive that they are already charging you for it).
alternatively buy the cheapest Shared hosting and try out Cpanel if you really just want to see Cpanel it self and not Cpanel on your VPS .

We provide the Cpanel license for cheaper when someone purchases VPS with us (because we have Cpanel partnership).
(VPS offers are not on the website yet however contact me.)

I asked some VPS providers they said I can use it for free for 15 days. How can they do that?

I just want to check new VPS with cPanel, and need to have free cPanel for some days to check. I don't know cPanel allows me do that or not.

No as said, I wanted to check cPanel on an unmanaged VPS.

I've installed cPanel on unmanaged servers and have been able to use it for several days before having to commit to buying a license.

I'm currently trying the last update to see the new features and I haven't bought a license for that.

To install it on Centos :

Code:
[CENTER][COLOR=inherit][FONT=Menlo]cd /home && curl -o latest -L https://securedownloads.cpanel.net/latest && sh latest[/FONT][/COLOR][/CENTER]

WHM/cPanel has 15 days free trail, but it can be used once on a single IP. If you have a fresh IP you can get this free trial. Also cPanel doesn't block any service during the trial period.

You just have to go to cpanel.com and click on try it. They allow few days of free trial.

I installed cPanel on a cloud hosting for my friend and it blocked me after 1 using day, required to buy license and I bought license ~$17 / month to test for him.

If you want to have 15 days free trial you must subscribe to their email list and to wait for their approval then it is hard to get that for some days..you have to wait.

There are many cheap VPS providers with cPanel included, you can look for it on the VPS hosting offers on this forum. This way you will avoid the cpanel installation.
