Is there a way to markup a zip code to give it relevance? So search spiders know that these are not random numbers, they understand the context of the information on the page lies within the zip code? There must be a way to mark this up somehow to enhance it, otherwise it is just numbers I would think. Ideas?

Assuming your using a HTML doctype, you could wrap your zip codesbin a label and use the 'for' attribute.

<label for="zipcode">zip code</label>

Thanks, is there a "rich text" markup that can go with it also? Maybe I could use both if so, but I will definitely start doing exactly what you recommend with the html too, I had never seen this before. Glad I have only finished like 5 out of 50 pages before reading your response, lol. Funny, with Google search so much concentrated around local results, I find it strange that people don't talk more about localizing "onsite" more. Are there any other localizing onsite tips that are "must do" that you might know of? Any advice is appreciated.

Use proper markup language which search engine spiders understands easily.

Example: <span itemprop="postalCode">20006</span>
